What an incredible pre-Christmas and Christmas period!
Thank you to each and every person who helped to turn our #dearsecretsanta campaign in to a reality. Because of all of you we managed to distribute over 200 presents to Hackney’s children this Christmas, as well as the care packages which we have been handing out since March, and vouchers for those families that are currently most in need to be able to continue to afford food, basic necessities, and any other extras that all of us should be able to indulge in over Christmas.
In the end we raised an incredible £3,038.73 – a figure which with GiftAid (a UK tax incentive which allows charity to claim an extra 25p for every £1 donated) – becomes an even more impressive £3,699.73.
