Isabel is SkyWay’s finance assistant. She has worked at SkyWay since August 2014, initially as a volunteer helping with administration and now works alongside the finance coordinator.

How did you become involved in SkyWay?
I started as a volunteer with SkyWay in August 2014.

Tell us an interesting fact about you
I’m from the south of Spain, Malaga in Costa del Sol.

Which young person/people have inspired you?
Jan, he is always full of energy and trying to help others.

What is your earliest memory?
Making a sand castle with my brother on the beach.

What would you tell your younger self?
Don’t give up on your dreams and not to care too much what other people think or say.

What’s the best thing about Hackney?
The variety of people.

What meal would you share with a young person?
A Spanish omelette with a nice gazpacho and croquetas.

How would you like to be remembered?
As someone who tried her best and helped others.

What have you learnt from young people?
Enjoy your yourself and follow your passions.
