Steel Pans
Over the last six weeks SkyWay Futures have been taking part in a project which opened them to the new experience of learning how to play steel pans. From never having played before, the young people learnt a melody which they incorporated into a song.
Money Management & Cooking
In the girls-only session they focused on enhanced money management and cooking skills. The girls took part in cooking sessions were they were given a budget which they had to manage and were challenged to source and buy the right ingredients for the lowest cost. The choice of what to cook was left up to the girls.
